His decision came after the Redskins' owner had sent a plane to fly him east and then hosted Seattle's assistant head coach and defensive backs coach at the tycoon's guesthouse during two days of interviews. "I want to thank the Redskins organization and owner Daniel Snyder for the opportunity to interview for the head coaching position," Mora said in a statement released by the Seahawks. "The process reconfirmed that the quality of life for my family in Seattle is my first priority. This past year has been a great experience both professionally and personally for myself, my wife Shannon, and our kids. We are very happy members of this community and the Seattle Seahawks organization." Holmgren added Mora, 46, to his staff soon after he was fired as head coach of the Falcons on New Year's Day, 2007, after three seasons leading Atlanta.

She didn't know who would be tying the knot, but that "monsignors and bishoplets are running around acting important and hinting and winking. But she's filming a movie in NYC right now, which leaves little time for wedding plans.

RAMS OWNERS DIES Georgia Frontiere, the St. Louis native who became a hometown hero when she brought the NFL's Rams from Los Angeles in 1995, died Friday. She was 80. Frontiere had been hospitalized for breast cancer for several months, the Rams said in a statement posted on their Web site. "Our mom was dedicated to being more than the owner of a football team," daughter Lucia Rodriguez and son Chip Rosenbloom said in the statement. "She loved the Rams' players, coaches, and staff. The warmth and generosity she exuded will never be forgotten." The one-time nightclub singer was married seven times, starting at age 15. Her sixth husband, Carroll Rosenbloom, owned the Los Angeles Rams at the time of his drowning death in 1979. The Rams moved twice under Frontiere's leadership, first relocating from the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in 1980 to Anaheim, 35 miles away.
Granholm backs Cobo expansion
She said the proposed 120,000 square-foot expansion shows the region is fighting other states to retain the North American International Auto Show, an economic juggernaut held at Cobo that generates almost $600 million a year for the local economy. "We must have it stay in the city from here on out," Granholm said. "We will fight to keep it." The plan faces legislative hurdles, tax extensions and approval of several financial transactions in order to work. Barring roadblocks, construction could be finished and Cobo ready for the 2011 auto show, Assistant Wayne County Executive Matthew Schenk said. The one key player missing from Thursday's unveiling was long-time skeptic L. Brooks Patterson, the Oakland County executive who has offered rival expansion plans and questioned expenses and tax spending.

Princess Peach wants to see Mario, only the dastardly Bowser comes along and kidnaps her. This time, however, he uses a UFO to pick up the entire castle. Mario, clinging to the edges, gets taken into space and given the boot.When he awakens, Mario is in the presence of Princess Roselina, the guardian of the gate to the heavens, who wants Mario to recover the stars that Bowser stole to pull off his Peach heist. She grants him some star powers of his own to do it.Personally, I think Mario would be better off with Roselina than Peach; at least she isn't constantly getting kidnapped.Anyway, what follows is a game so full of originality and fantastic level design that players will be hard-pressed to find a platformer that does it better.Each galaxy Mario visits is unique, and each planet within each galaxy is different than the one before it.By planet, I mean semi-large spheres.
